As important as it is to support children on their reading journey’s, from developing key word recognition and phonological skills to teaching reading strategies, developing comprehension, and improving fluency, it is also essential to provide opportunities for children to enjoy being read to. This is what my book club is all about!

The practice of reading and exploring books with children has many amazing benefits including relaxation, interaction, developing confidence, and of course, LEARNING! Whether it is a book about princesses, dungeons and dragons, emotions or understanding more about our world, spending time reading to children helps to boost their self-esteem, enrich their vocabulary, and fuel their imagination.

Through my book club you can give your little ones time to enjoy the many benefits of listening to, exploring and getting lost in a good story! Weekly sessions will also include book related activities, crafts or dramatic play!
