About Us
🌰 In a Nutshell 🌰
As dedicated teachers with a wealth of experience in the early years, we realise the importance of nurturing personal development in complete congruence with all other curriculum-based learning. Our wide-ranging and diverse activities are perfect for teachers of little ones who are in the beginning stages of social, emotional and academic growth.
With our comprehensive resources and reflective online posts, we aim to educate and supply teachers with the information and resources necessary to afford every child the opportunity to feel included, gain a sense of achievement, develop confidence and most importantly, make continued progress at their own level!
What makes us different from other teacher resource suppliers?
Our printable worksheet activities come in easy to use packs which are differentiated, inclusive and progressive. Made to perfectly compliment any class teaching and activity-based learning, they provide all pupils the opportunity to practice, memorise and progress in their learning.
Our 'Level 1 Resource Creator' is a teacher of over 20 years currently based in a composite Primary 1/2 (Reception/Year 1) class. She has developed expert knowledge and gained invaluable insight into the vast range of skills, learning styles and ability levels that can exist in one classroom. She aims to include, enthuse and motivate all pupils whilst catering to their interests and individual stages of development. This creator is also currently working in the role of Numeracy coordinator in her school.
Our 'Level 2 Resource Creator' is a teacher of over 18 years. Before taking a career break in 2023 to develop 'In a Nutshell Education', she was Head of Foundation Stage in a large primary school, and prior to this, worked in the role of Literacy Coordinator. She is creative, enthusiastic, and fully dedicated to promoting inclusive, differentiated and progressive teaching and learning. With her love of teaching, her experience and training, she has gained invaluable insight and developed extensive knowledge of the variety of emotional, social, physical and learning needs in children.
